Yesterday was too hot to take the boat out (triple digits) so we went in search of creek crossings in the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge. Dry and dusty so the creeks were no big deal, but still had a good time. Exploring in a big comfy truck with kicking AC and cooled seats is a lot like cheating.
We took the dog.
Which means I spent 2 hours cleaning fur out of the truck this morning.
I just found this album today at a resale shop. Knocked my socks off. A Blue Angels album? Those are F-11s. The Navy didn't use them for very long.
Doug "landed out" less than three miles from the airport. Good field though, no rocks or fences AND uphill landing.
