North Miami Beach. North of the Newport Fishing Pier

We stayed at a Double Tree Hilton. Fun times. Took two day trips: one to the Miami Seaquarium and one to Lion Country Safari. Took the kids and my parents. Stayed in a two bedroom suite. The other two days we spent between the beach and the pool/hot tubs. The wind brought in heavy surf and lots of seaweed and sunbathing isn't really something we do in our family.

I figured it was Florida. Parts of Daytona Beach look like that too.
