120 knots at 100ft AGL. Beautiful afternoon for it.

I finally got around to replacing the passenger side CV axle. I've been driving on this for 4 months. I couldn't get the lower ball joint to separate so I just unbolted it. Everything went well but I now I have a vibration upon acceleration. I might have overtorqued the axle nut since the auto hobby shop's only torque wrench was broke (shocker) so I set the impact gun to nuclear and hoped for the best (book said 205 lb ft). The replacement axle (Trakmotive) didn't have the damper thing on the shaft so it might be transmitting vibration instead of quelling it. Who knows? *shrug*
I also drained and refilled the trans with MT-85. The fluid that came out was still red but smelled terrible. It seemed to shift better on the way home but it's probably just a placebo effect of spending $45 on trans fluid.

I miss the power and 'freedom' of a Blackhawk. Wonderful aircraft.

That’s because someone downrange is about to get berkeleyed.
I'm ready for Autocross tomorrow. It's likely to be raining. We'll see how bad the rivals are in the wet.
