many years ago as a kid I built a model of the Old Crow P-51. I took it to the nex International Plastic Modeler Society meeting and i=one of the older guys there looks at it for a while. Then he says, thats pretty nice, but this little detail is wrong. He never painted that part like that. Thinking he was the standard old fart I asked him why he was so certain.

Always good to get feedback from someone who knows what they're talking about. I used to go to IPMS meetings "back in the day". There were a few decent older guys, but a lot of "rivet counters", most of whom looked something like this:

Shelby is a featured marque at the 2019 PVGP. They had a GT500 on display, I will look for it this weekend and try the old "I'm with Ford, I'm here to move the GT500 to the other display" routine.

DW had a Hornet Sportabout just like the one at far right in front of the Blazer. It was that color and had those wheels, too.
