I thought Corvair bodied modifieds looked a bit awkward unless the rear overhang was bobbed like the last pic.
Thanks wally! Keep them coming. Giving me good ideas for this. Not many modified body corvair pictures i can find

This was sitting in the junkyard in Durham this weekend. No appreciable rust- Henderson is just up the way, so it was probably an NC car its whole existence and never really saw any salt.
The engine and transmission are still in it.

I remember going to one of the junkyards near me (in Central New York, prime rust territory) and there was an absolutely flawless 1992 Jeep Grand Wagooner sitting there. White with a red interior, wood side paneling, all complete, no a scratch, scrape, dent or speck of rust. It made me really sad to see there, and the yards around here woun't sell you a vehicle.
God, I want a a Grand Wagoneer so bad, but the price on them has gone insane.

Al Eckstrand's "Lawman" Boss 429? Note, somebody needs to start reproducing those wheels. They are bitchin'
I forget that Al Eckstrand was a Ford guy later on. I always associate him with Mopars.
His '66/'67 Charger is kind of an interesting one, because the Charger was never a big dragstrip hero, and certainly not the early cars. Also, really cool old Cragars on this, kinda like S/S but with a cast center? He had good taste in wheels.

Yes. Apparently the car toured Vietnam as part of the USO support / entertainment effort.
Apparently those are Motor Wheels Spyder wheels. Wow, the LSD was in full effect when they made this ad. Can't say I've ever seen a set of those in person. Someone needs to reproduce them. Now.
I like this ad, featuring an insanely young-looking Roy Hill, now proprietor of Roy Hill's Drag Racing School.

I wanted to give your dad joke a thumbs down, but that would make me a hypocrite, so take this thumbs up instead!
And the culprit

I'm not sure what we're looking at in the top pic.
Whitetail bucks will "scrape" at the ground with their hooves below a low hanging branch. Then they mess with the branch and get some scent on them from glands on their heads. If you watch the video, the buck spreads his rear legs and is probably spreading poop with his tail or try to get more scent out by his butt. But the top picture is what you will find when the deer are in the "rut" or when they are playing their mating games. Those who see whitetail often will notice his neck is a bit puffy due to being in the rut. The rut makes them do dumb things like run around and chase doe or generally crazy or erratic movement. Like drunk 20-somethings males at bar closing time.
