They are even uglier coming straight at you. My coworker got a new 1500 as a work vehicle. Its ugly and the lips/wings on the front apparently whistle while you drive.

Eh, it's a truck. You do truck things with it. That design is utiliarian and it's respectable.

Now this, makes me think "Dangit Bobby, you are in public. People can see you."

All it needs are some tassles hanging off of the mirrors like a girl's tricycle. Giant wheels, no bed, powered running boards, FUBA antenna, etc. It's a Suburban for someone who can't admit to themself that they're a trophy wife, not a truck for doing truck things.

Very subjective assessment I know, but IMO sometimes a vehicle looks great with no body at all.

Who within GM ultimately gave this the stamp of approval? I see a niche market for aftermarket front ends on the horizon.
