I agreed that the consumer version isn't much better- but it is better. The main issue is that the full size trucks are huge- there is a lot of real estate to fill up on that massive front end, but somehow the nostalgia craze that got the muscle and pony cars hasn't hit the truck market yet.
Given how some people seem to regard their pickups, I think they are missing some pretty obvious styling queues for the big front end:
With pickups getting bigger I'm surprised they haven't adopted a tilt hood to make service a bit easier.

Not at the moment that I noticed, no. The ones you linked are all older, aren't they?

It took me way too long to figure out that was a bus. I saw a box on the roof of a car, and was trying to figure out what was in the box.
Damn small phone...
Had to stick poke a snake out of my mower before i could use it. Its a good snake(pretty sure..) so he got to meander off. Very un-aggressive
I've share this before I'm sure but this was 6 years ago today. My then 11 year old son spent every event till he got his permit cadging rides with my fellow autocrossers. Now he's my co-driver.
Girl-Spawn (age 11) made it to the top of the 35' wall her first time rock climbing.
Boy-Spawn had gone first (before coaching) and *almost* made it to the top of the 35' wall, but tired himself out. He spent the rest of the time on the program wall.
The old man (me) made it up the 35' wall- in jeans. Not to self- don't wear jeans rock climbing.
