Hey, I used to work with John! He left a decent job to draw cartoons. Good on him.

Banned, innovative and such cars is the group.
My aunt posted this picture today- 25 years ago there was some really good smallmouth bass fishing under those falls in the summer. I wonder if it is still good.

Looks like a good spot. I'd have to wonder if access has been cut off though, it looks like it's next to a power station of some sort.

The power station has been there for a while. There are ways down, and the water gets much lower during the summer.

I don't think this is Syd Mead, but it definitely owes quite a bit to the man:

When I win the powerball I'm going to waste a good chunk of time researching French promotional vehicles.

I believe the one I posted is Italian, but your point stands, without question. A lot of Teleavia and Frigeavia appliances were designed by the French, astoundingly enough.
Indeed, here's a 1957 Teleavia TV - designed by Flaminio Bertoni, who designed the Citroen DS:
And a fridge:
In reply to Duke :
It could well be Italian, they had a wild vehicle design period too but not as numerous as the French who seemed to turn out futuristic trucks for pretty much anything.
The Italians made Communism look fun:

Thanks for creating an image in my brain of what the rear view of Mortimer would be.

If somebody would make a rotor watch that had the rotor moving epicyclically inside a rotor housing, I'd buy it.

Herein lies trivia.
Mazda rotary engine naming is... weird, if you are not of Mazda. The letter has little to nothing to do with "engine family" like other makes or models, it just signifies difference between versions of a given displacement.
The 10A, 12A, and 13B, and stillborn 15A are all from the same "engine family" and a lot of parts interchange between them. The 13B as just the second 1.3l engine they built. The 13A was a weird engine, it was the only engine that Mazda ever built in any kind of production capacity that had a different housing radius and "stroke". It's so rare that the R130 Luce that Mazda has in their company museum doesn't have an engine in it.
Also, it was front wheel drive.
(The 20B was the second "2 liter" engine, the first being the 13G race engine, which was a three rotor engine built on 13B geometry, and the R26B was the second "2.6 liter" engine, the first being the 13J four rotor race engine built on 13B geometry... I did say the naming convention was weird)

There is someone here in this last photo who played a character killed by a terminator, an alien, and a predator. There is another...

hotlink only semi related.
If the 13B 2 rotor was the "base" for the 13J 4 rotor, could an enterprising individual create something like a 6 rotor?
I've only seen one rotary engine up close and personal, and only for a brief period, but are rotor housings stackable I guess is the question I'm trying to ask?
I've never seen two housings stacked on one another, it's always just add more rotors and irons.
Doing it that way, it's the eccentric shaft you'd have to worry about in a really big rotary engine.
