I'm not sure on everyone elses view of the following pics, but this is mine.

So here is the object of my new desire, make that lust.

Both it and the Audi / Auto Union date from the late '90s / early '00s.

I have 2 1936 Mercedes GP cars, also:

One of them was originally silver and dates from the late '60s.  It was mine as a kid and I played with it like crazy.  It got a little beaten up and at some point I repainted it yellow, so it probably has no value any more, but it's complete and looks pretty good.

The other one is in the original red paint and dates from the late '40s.  It says MADE IN OCCUPIED WEST GERMANY on the bottom and I assume was my father's.  I always had it too growing up (I reenacted a lot of wheel-to-wheel action with them) but I could tell it was old and took better care of that one.  It looks pretty much identical to this, patina and all:

As an addendum to the tips from the meme thread, if the image link's URL is based on "mail.google.com" it's not going to work for other people.
