Techically it was the "woodpecker signal"... the Duga over the horizon radar system was messing with American broadcast TV!
I vaguely remember that. I shouldn't because I was born in 1978, but I saw a YouTube clip of an NBC broadcast that got woodpecker interference and it sounded familiar and nostalgic.
That is not "AN" antenna.
That is an array of 285 antennas!
Not counting the smaller one next to it.
If cell phones go down, I'll be the "go to" guy in the neighborhood!
