I had a '70 Impala sedan. Great cruising car. That Biscayne is better looking. That thing is awesome, right down to the dog dish hubcaps

Those chassis are better than people give them creit for. GM really tried for the lowest common denominator with those cars in period, but they shared their underpinnings with the far far better Euro Cavaliers. There was one guy who did a lot of Cen-Div autocross with one in the 90's when I was running my Miata. I don't recall his name, but the car was white with reltivly little prep. SOmething like Koni's with ground controls sleeves, wheels, tires, exhaust and CAI. He did pretty well against the Pony cars. As usual I loved the underdog.
Semi related as I can't find a pic of the ESP one I'm talking about.

Edit- it's amazing how little difference there is.

My wife is laughing at me right now because I am more worked up about the Porsche Diesel tractor than anything. "What, that mother berkeleyer even has a Porsche tractor?!?!" actually came out of my mouth.
I want one so bad.
Real or fake?
Our granddaughters found this during their walk around the neighborhood on Mothers Day. And five days later, it's still alive ... and enjoying it's comfy environment:

They built a baby Grand National.
Thompson's Auto Salvage in Kankakee Illinois has one of the little t-types in the yard, I bought the badges, seats and steering wheel off of it twenty years ago. The shell was still there last time I was in there.
In reply to Gary :
We found one too! Left him alone though. Gub'mint says these ones are protected and I don't fancy jail time.
This 1931 Chris Craft 200 has only had one owner who cleverly built rail tracks down to the river from the basement. She's 98.
