Not that we need all that for the barbecue,
But once you get locked into a serious meat collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

I made Cajun / Californian fusion Po Boy shrimp sandwiches today and they turned out great (sorry, no pics.) Basically, I grilled the shrimp rather than rolling them in bread crumbs and frying them. Also, all the high fat / cholesterol stuff like mayonnaise got kicked to the curb. It was a tale of paprika, creole seasoning, and tabasco with virgin olive oil holding everything together. The sauce turned out to have an opacic composition containing a pink tinge (perfect complement to shrimp).
Bacon, sausage, cured meats, etc., are really bad; Um, Kay…I just don’t put that E36 M3 in my body.

Classic Klemantaski. Great pic! Fangio in the D50 Lancia, early morning practice prior to the Monaco GP, probably the 1956 season. This is an unbelievably superb Klemantaski photo. Look at Fangio's right front tire and the curb, and the slight oversteer ... perfectly placed at high speed on a tight circuit. Fangio was a master. Klemantaski was a master. Two different crafts. Thanks, Shadeaux. Another great photo.
(I love vintage Klemantaski b&w pics, and this one happens to be one of my favorites).

Hunter Thompson? Fear and Loathing. (The book was better than the movie).
In reply to Appleseed :
Raoul Duke is the fictional character and antihero based on Hunter S. Thompson in his autobiographical novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The book was originally written under the name Raoul Duke. Hunter S. Thompson was the actual author.
Kiev funicular connecting Podil to the Upper City since 1905 In 1983-1984, the funicular was reconstructed, expanded, built new modern stations.
Looking at GP bikes online this morning and I just noticed the exhaust arrangement on the TZ500. There was an engineer involved in that upper silencer.

Let me guess, the Civic raw-timed the Cobras by a half-second.
I, in my 245whp Miata on 245-width tires, got beat on raw time by over a second by an STS-class 1.6L 130whp Miata on 205-width tires. Humbling.

That was just Saturday, so I still have the results open on my phone. Here's the breakdown.
The fastest of the two cobras ran a 51.981, to finish 2nd in CAM-S behind a 2017 Z06 Corvette with a 51.068.
My 140 horsepower ES Miata on the right side of the photo ran a 50.364. My first win in ES, two years since starting autocross.
From my post in the Minor Win thread:
I was 9th overall in pax, and faster in raw time than the class winners in STR, STX, CAM S (a Z06 C7), and both front and rear wheel drive Street Modified classes.
And the civics? The one in the photo is a 2017 SI. He put down a 49.447, good for second in G Street behind another 2017 Civic SI, with a 48.781.
Those civics are wicked fast.
Obligatory photo highly related.
