Hunter Thompson? Fear and Loathing. (The book was better than the movie).
Which isn't saying much.

This is an unbelievably superb Klemantaski photo. Look at Fangio's right front tire and the curb, and the slight oversteer ... perfectly placed at high speed on a tight circuit. Fangio was a master. Klemantaski was a master. Two different crafts. Thanks, Shadeaux. Another great photo.
(I love vintage Klemantaski b&w pics, and this one happens to be one of my favorites).
The car is not oversteering, it is understeering slightly. Look at the front tires, they're at a higher slip angle than the rear tires.
Seeing this on the road today put a tickle in my pickle.
Chevy II wagon in what appeared to be original paint in a light green like green glass. Wide rear drag tires and roll bar with supports going to the back seat.

I saw a Fairmont wagon the other day cruising along Mill Stream reservation. Big n littles and about the same ride height and a hood scoop begging for an "obstruction of view" ticket.
Its existence made me very happy. Doubleplus because it looked like the two similar-aged occupants looked like their age might add up to mine. Might.

Those civics are wicked fast.
I assumed because my STS FiST is regularly 1+ seconds behind the GS Civics. Wicked fast indeed.
