No loss, it's a Targa. I know it's irrational but I do not like 911 Targa's. I think it's because when executed Corvette/Supra style a Targa is just 2 black lines on an otherwise unblemished roof. When executed on a 911 they take one of the best looking shapes of all time and make it somehow look worse then the convertible version of the same car.
Glorious.
Ugh..
The new top mechanism on the modern ones is cool though.
Time off work for surgery recovery means lots of light weight projects. Been a LONG time since I saw the top of my work bench. Notice the cat treat containers on the left. Color coded hardware storage.

The want is strong in this one...what the Berk is wrong with you people???
Because we realize that entropy is unavoidable.
We also imagined that this wound up there during a coke fueled orgy of Bachnallian proportions.

No, you are not. I think they're rad. Though I'm not sure whether I'd go Targa or fixed roof. I guess it depends on usage; Targa for something where the clock doesn't matter.

Unrelated:
I honestly think the 911 Targas may be my fav 911. I'll take mine in brown.
Edit: just noticed my hotlink didn't hotlink so fixed that.

Corvettes had B-pillars already, 911s did not, so a targa 911 requires the addition of a B-pillar, which clashes with the design intended for a thick C-pillar.
I've had time to think of this for a while...

I got nervous for a moment when I thought that a Glastron Carlson CV21 had given it's life for the sake of art-car. But I think I can relax. Similar but not the same.
