Supposedly the newer EB get REALLY good mileage highway.
this one is a 5L but my next will be the small EB, the company has made that change across the board.
Edit: 18.1 lifetime seems pretty good for what it is
Yeah the new gen stuff is next level. My older one can get an 18mpg tank average running interstate only, but my lifetime avg is right at 15mpg. Growing up around single digit mpg trucks I'm pretty damn happy with a 4x4 that will tow almost 10k and still get 14 around town.

A 1975 Audi 100LS was my first car. It's amazing the new curse words I created working on it... But I loved it...
Pic totally unrelated. I found this cute little rodent in a deep sleep on my patio. Deep sleep. I tried, but couldn't wake him. But he looked very comfortable.
Did you try mouth to mouth?

Mine was a '72. I wish I still had it. Front brakes taught me a few new ones as well.

WOW, there's a blast from the past! I remember those coming out. I never did figure out how tires were supposed to reduce brake fade.
I'll bet the same car magazine with that twin tire ad also had this one somewhere near the back:
