Oh yeah. Brush the sticks off, put in a LS and drive. Snow tires and all. I would need to clean life from the interior.

I can't be the only wing-nut on the board who zoomed in on it to try to figure out what it is. My first guess was RV, be because of the Hershey bar wing, but the proportions are off.
June and July 1968:
12 starts
12 complete games
12 wins
8 shutouts
6 runs allowed
In 1969, Major League Baseball lowered the mound 5 inches. That's how much Bob Gibson dominated. RIP.
In reply to Appleseed :
Looks like it has Hoerner style wing tips which, if true, is a useful clue since they're somewhat rare.

The fuselage reminds me of a Fournier RF-4 motor glider which is French and those guys are fans of Horner wing tips.
Actually, maybe it's a Zenair CH250 (designed by Chris Heintz who's French Canadian IIRC) that's been converted from tri gear to conventional gear.
Name these three people ... and as a bonus, the venue:
Just joking, I'll do it. You know the guy on the left. Team owner John Edgar is in the middle. And the legendary mechanic/transporter driver Joe Landaker on the right, maybe as popular as Ol' Shel back in the day. Legend has it that Joe had that GMC transporter up to 100 mph on cross country journeys.
The venue? Palm Springs airport races, April, 1958. But I don't know if it was SCCA or Cal Club.
The Shelby-Edgar connection was very important. It enhanced his career.
