Well, not exactly my car. But a very close facsimile off Goggle Images (I know not goggle, that was intentional). Nice location on Angeles Crest (CA Hwy 2) though.
Not me. But who?
Well, I'll answer: LJK Setright. Great automotive journalist. Worth looking at his work.
(He's gone now, but back in the day he needed to put on a few pounds).

I presume they loaded the old big block out of the Crusher Camaro in there?
Yeah. Three or four years ago they did the crossover episode with Mighty Car Mods and they wanted to give the MCM boys a true American car to experience. So they bought a '69 Impala coupe and dropped in the old Crusher motor and the Crusher Impala was born. Honestly, I think its my favorite Roadkill car because of how rude and violent it is. It is also apparently Mike Finnegan's least favorite. He hates the body style of those era Imps. Hilariously he was griping about it to David Freiburger and was saying "I hate those Impalas and it also has too many doors" and Freiburger pointed out it was a 2-door and Finnegan replied with "That's how much I hate that car, I didn't even know it was a two-door"
I do love that one, especially as they have gone back and fixed some of the hack-job from the initial episode. I had a 1970 Impala, almost identical. It was a great car. Wait, scratch that. It was a great sofa that managed to do basic car tasks, which almost made it a great car. Almost.

When I was an adolescent in 1977, we moved into an old farmhouse that was the remnant of a brand new subdivision. Wayyy out in the boonies. None of the houses had been built yet and there weren't going to be many anyway. I was a somewhat lonely kid with no neighbors within a mile.
The old farmer was still in the process of vacating a cabin he had lived in elsewhere on the property, and the sheds were still full of a lifetime of old farmer junk. I spent days exploring them.
One day, inside an old tire hanging on the wall of an open shed, I found half a dozen somewhat worn Hustlers from the mid-'70s. It was a treasure trove and there was absolutely no legitimate reason to have stashed porn there. To this day I can only assume that the farmer had bequeathed them to me and left them there for me to find.

Wow, you could say that's a real coming of age story. Ba-dum-tsh
When I was about ten, or even younger, I found a paperback book in the ditch as I was picking bottles, about a young mans coming of age. .. I read it cover to cover, had pretty much no idea about the specifics of what was happening, and at the time couldn't produce anything more than a puff of air, but somehow I found it intriguing...
As I recall, there was one chapter each about pretty much every possible activity that involved two consenting adults. Can't really hotlink anything related...

Not a clue. It was at least 50 years ago. I sometimes wish I still had it, but I think I hid it a bit too well from my Mom... and, apparently, myself.
