That's it? 4242?
A cool description of the recovery of the Golden Ray, with lots of automotive carnage photos:

Somebody actually did that to me about 20 years ago, though he just moved it around the back of the building
Cost the company $1100 and the guy lost his job

The Lion's Back in Moab, UT. When I did the run there was a full size truck wedged in the right of this pic after it had fallen off the spine.

Everynow and then I feel bad about the damage to the planet I cause by wastefully scrapping old bolts and small pieces of metal. Then I see this and think.. We cool Bro.

Maybe a cheap way of “fixing” a rollover in the Suburban?

When I worked as a Ford tech in the '80s I had a lift like this in one of my bays. It was pretty sketchy. Each post is controlled indipendently and they went up and down at different rates than each other depending on how much wieght was on each end, how much air was in the compressor and which way a particular butterfly in Milasia was flying (or something like that.) Out of frame to the right of the picture the cover plate has notches along one side. If you stick a steel bar through the notch and into a hole in the floor you can pry the top plate and the whole forward post assembly back and forth to accomodate different wheelbase vehicles. I have no idea what the support mechanism under the plate looks like that allowes you to do that. I was afraid to look. There was also no visable mechanical safety to stop the lift from dropping if the hydro/pneumatic system gave out. I told myself that there was a clever inertia based mechanical system hidden under the cover plate.

These young ladies are all grown up now, but this photo has been seen on "The Ellen Degeneres Show', "The Graham Norton Show" in Great Britain, and has even been used in an Australian ad of some nature. They are my twin nieces and this is a good example of how shared stuff spreads on the world wide web.
