More cool stuff in the background :-)

Reminds me of Rotoryway's
Scorpion homebuilt helicopter.
I find it VERY hard to believe that motor would be anywhere powerful enough to provide lift. The tail rotor belt looks rather exteme!
I could not find a pic how the Rotorway tail rotor is powered, but let's just say, the Rotorway depends on a LOT of belts all working:
That belt you see coming toward the camera, is a part of a series of 3(?) belts and pulleys that power the tail rotor. Heck, you can at least land relatively safely without a tail rotor (which is primarily there to counteract engine torque, and steering of course)
I wondered the same.
Maybe they had to do that to get the proper roll coming off the ramp. See pic 3, then look back at pic 1

I'm guessing it's for drifting. There's probably a pedal or lever that lowers it enough to get the back tires almost off the ground.
I am disappoint that the giant skateboard in the foreground is just decoration and not involved in the stunt at all.

I was on a 6:00am monday morning flight from Chicago to New York a few years back and the woman next to me ordered a mixed drink like a whiskey coke or something. Then after taking a few sips she actually said the exact phrase above to the flight attendant. She ended up buying another little bottle of whiskey and dumping it in.

If I remember correctly, it was there to automatically apply the brakes as soon as the tires hit the road.
