Guy bought his daughter a 1960 Corvair at auction, there were issues with the clutch. Rooting around he found a ring jammed in the linkage. Oh, like that abandoned bus up in Canada? ( They finally went in and pulled it out with a military helicopter after many rescues of fans of the book. )
