That's a cool car, it's from the Rajah Shriner's in Reading, PA. Different Shrine Temples from across the country have a gang of interesting vehicles. That is the origin of my wheelie car. If you YouTube Shrine Imperial Parade you can find a lot of interesting vehicles.

Why? Natural gas is cheaper, which is why coal's dying.
I like this chart, because the hydropower line looks like waves.

Well, it doesn’t usually look like this in downtown Austin either. If it did the wind turbines would have had de icing heaters built in like those in areas where this weather is expected. Another fun fact; several coal plants in Texas had to shut down due to their outdoor coal piles freezing over and preventing equipment from moving it into the plant The source of this information? Gov. Abbot’s press release this afternoon. Hitting a little close to home for me as my son is in an apartment in Bryan that’s only had power for 3 hours out of the last 30. It was 6 F this morning outside and 42 inside. He’ll be fine but there are a lot of people in a lot of trouble down there
My neighbor used to install those turbines, there ain't enough money in the world or Tangurai in North America to get me up there!

I am continually amazed at the lack of research and strange theorizing happening with... well, everything. The coal plants froze over as well. It seems that many of their power plants, of all types mind you, were not winterized. Obviously wind turbines, coal, natural gas and nuclear plants exist in more severe winter weather than Texas has right now. It seems pretty obvious that the unusual nature of the storm is the cause, but nah, let's just fixate on one image and create an entire mode of thinking based on a stupid meme.

Completely agree, and the reality is that the power plants themselves not beign winterized, while a major issue, isn't the main issue.
