So tonight my granddaughter Rachael asked me what my favorite car was. She knows I'm a car guy. Well, I've always said an Aston Martin DB4 GT Z (Zagato). I've told her. But I'm sure she has no idea. So I texted this to her this pic. I think she'll get it. I hope.

I also told her that this pic was taken in Palm Springs, CA (or somewhere in the Coachella Valley). And this is Annie and my favorite place.

There is one of those just sitting outside at a weird intermittent auction house that occasionally sells vintage farm equipment. It still looks pretty solid but I wonder how many more years it will last like that. I wish somebody would rescue it.

Tried the spare set of BMW wheels with good tires I've had in my garage and I actually really like the look, definitely more than I thought I would.

As an avid angler, I can't see myself doing that in an active tackle box. I prefer to have the entire terminal rig ready to go, especially when fishing where a mandated setup is required; it makes talking to the WRC officers a lot easier.
