I much prefer these Fairbanks-Morses. The hot rod of the rails. They would out-pull and out-accelerate anything on the market.
I see these clips on Porsche 356s only, nothing newer. I suspected to hold the tube valve stem in place until air fills it, but these cars have the newer tubeless type schraeder valves.

Panchito is kinda local to me - about 75 minutes' drive south. The owner is an incredibly nice guy. I walked into his hangar as a complete stranger one day after seeing a bunch of semi-derelict MiGs outside and discovered them putting the cowls back on Panchito after some maintenance. He spent 20 minutes showing me around the airplane and then basically cut me loose to wander through his stuff. I see it fly over my house once or twice a month on summer weekends depending on the airshow schedule.
Some shots from that day:
That's what attracted my attention from outside.
Bryce Trevett's viral photos of a speckled racer, with a very striking color scheme. No, not a car...

Reminds me of the video I saw a day or two back. Guy searched for 4-6 months for a manual convertible Jag F-Type, had it shipped to his house which alone took 2-3 weeks, transporter didn't know to keep the car in gear and handbrake on. Fell off the top of the transport trailer and totalled the car
Took these the other day. This trailer combo has probably never happened before and will probably never happen again.
