Vans are useful! In the week and a half I have had this rental Transit, I have used it more to haul stuff than the entire time I have owned my pickup. I helped a buddy move a fullsize basketball hoop (assembled) and half a dozen bicycles and ride on toys from his fiance's old house. He then gave me her old washer and dryer. 

This big dumb van is winning my heart.

Unless you're hauling dirt or mulch a lot, a van is 10x more useful than a pickup.
