Just putting aside the bullet holes and fire damage for a bit, is that a bed frame for a safari rack?

Most legit ZAV I've ever seen, this is how they would actually look, especially if built after the apocalypse as the supply of proper pre-built bull bars and roof racks would dry up almost instantly. Note the MTBs, a highly underrated bit of zombie apocalypse gear.

Correct. The US forces outgrew their Buffalos pretty quickly, and never liked them all that much to begin with.
When Finland asked the US for fighter planes for use in national defense, the US promptly sent them 40 Mk1 Brewsters that were headed for the Navy, but already outmoded before they left the factory. For whatever reason the Finns got along with the Buffalos very well after they figured out some reliability issues. The cold weather actually helped with the Brewster's overheating problems.
The interesting part is that after the Soviet Union invaded Finland, it happened on more than 1 occasion that the US-made Brewsters went up against British-made Hawker Hurricanes in combat. Such are the vagaries of Lend-Lease.

If they get that back to flying condition it's gonna be worth a buttload of money as I think it would be the only flying Buffalo remaining.

Swastikas are not exclusive to Nazis. The Navajo Whirling Log is a sacred symbol.

It seems that Finland used that also. And that plane is on display in the Aviation Museum of Central Finland.
(I am guessing it is the same plane. How many wrecked Brewster Buffalos cam one country have?)

Nazi symbols point clockwise, Native American, counter clockwise (not intended to be snarky)
The Buffalo had a weak landing gear. Not good for a carrier plane. It also did not have self sealing fuel tanks. Not good for not burning alive. Otherwise it was not that much different from the Wildcat.
Wildcat trivia. Did you know it has no published VNE (airspeed never to exceed)? It's not the aerodynamic plane and did not have much of a ceiling, so it would be difficult to get it into a situation that would make it go super fast that would not also result in flying into the ground!

Apologies for the potato pic.
Out on a 10 day 4x4 trip in our Jeeps we decided to party and fix the broken vehicles. We were in SW NH circled around a campfire wrenching and cleaning etc.
Quite suddenly, two A10s come over the trees at about 50' from the tops of the trees. It was clear to us that they had used our camp (about 10 Jeeps) as a play target. Hoots, hollers, and cheering ensued as they passed over our heads. America berkeley Yeah!!!
The two jets came back around and circled the camp to more cheering and arms raised. They were close enough we could clearly see into the cockpit. Then they tipped their wings in salute. We were stunned. So berkeleying cool!
One of my favorite aircraft. Pic related:
