I-64 just a bit east of Lexington. Somewhere between 50 and 75 vehicles are estimated to be involved. Gonna be a looong night for rescue workers.
The roads went to utter E36 M3 today. As bad as I've ever experienced I believe.

Those are the days you just hunker down wherever you are, especially if you are in a place it rarely snows, nobody has winter tires, or a clue how to drive.
Wow ... looking at live traffic, a lot of KY, into WV, and up to Pittsburgh is a mess. We only got a dusting up in Cinci
Argh that sucks. Childishly I did try out the Tesla's snow manners with a hot lap around the neighborhood. Amazed how well it did on summers.

But, it's a Subaru, so it's inevitable you'd have to do it somehow.
Apologies for the picture of a picture that was likely taken originally with a Kodak Brownie camera sometime between the late 40’s to early 50’s.
I let slip in another thread that the frame for this car may still exist in the woods behind my late neighbor’s house. I thought that Charlie had told me it was a ‘35 Ford but the hood looks different? Look at that handsome devil!
He put 2 or 3 engines in it and drove it to Louisiana and back to Massachusetts at least twice to visit relatives. I believe he drove it until some point in the late 50’s to early 60’s.
Edit: after a little poking around, based on the hood louvers it was a ‘34.

You've no idea how you are simultaneously very right and also wrong.
The rear suspension was removed largely with a pry bar. Left side was completely disconnected from the body already.
The not at all scary way we had to hold the back of the car up.
Like the ad copy used to say, it's what makes a Subaru a Subaru.

I have carried one for over a decade, I use it more than my knife to be honest.

I have mine arranged from left to right as country of origin.
US------>Japan
Thought I had a pic. Next time.
I'm looking for this one. I have the rest of the set.
