Two Lane Blacktop. Cool early 70's movie. Have you seen the Jay Leno's Garage episode where he finds the '57 and has James Taylor come in and take a drive?
In reply to stukndapast :
No, I haven't. But I will look for it. Thank you.
I kinda like this pic from production: James Taylor is quite the character as the driver! Good pairing with Beach Boy Dennis Wilson as mechanic in the movie. Nice vintage roll bar and headliner in the '55.

Vague memory says it's the same 55 Harrison Ford drives in American Graffiti.

It is, and they never opened the hood in Graffiti because there was a big block Chev in there...which didn't exist in 62.

Dingo our 88 lb greyhound in my wife's smart fortwo. The dealer actually let us bring him into the showroom to see if he'd fit in the car. We had to know in case my wife needed to take him to the emergency vet for any reason. He fit. He wasn't happy, but he fit.

TIL that you can fold the vertical stab on a B-52:
Apparently it's not an easy practice and takes a couple hours to cycle, but it can be done.

<David Attenborough> Witness the rare captive B-52. Similar to a captive orca whale, it's fin slumps to one side when it cannot be free.
