I always wanted a Seawind
Though not as sexy / fast as the Seawind, I'd take the Lake Buccaneer over it. Much lower stalling speed and no prop spinning inches away from your head.
The few I see on Trade-A-Plane every now and then aren't going for stupid money so possible.

My aircraft shopping only takes place in the fantasy world I sometimes go to and in that world I make lots of long cross country trips so I need the speed and range of the Seawind. Here in the real world the Lake Buccaneer is likely a better choice but so far I've been spending all my airplane money on race cars so even that's unlikely.
Only slightly related pic
For some reason, my fantasy aircraft is a long ez.
I just dig the design and layout.
Secondary part of airplane dreams, figuring out some combo of similar performance envelope aircraft with room for two people and cargo room for...
A (foldable?) Motorcycle built as lightly and compactly as possible that can seat two up and Cruze at minimum 50-70mph. I've gone down a design rabbit hole for that as a "can't sleep must occupy brain" endeavor
Just imagine the life adventure possibilities on having a small plane with ground transport at whatever small airport you want to land at onboard your plane for minimal logistics headaches.
Just hangin' out with one of my hero cars. Making a plan for its resurrection and improvement
It was modified in the late 90's. Engine built up, CIS injection replaced with standalone, old school air pressure regulator mounted on the dash as a boost controller.
But those Gottis!!!
Mind blowing that the Varieze has been flying since May21, 1975(!) Almost 50 years later, and its still the future. Can you imagine seeing Dick Rutan show up in this at Oshkosh that year?

Poster child for the "Does boost lag add character?" thread
I think I'll take the Moet and Chandon at €49.40.
I'm sure it'll be a Royal berkeley!
(This is a pic from a menu at a cafe in Paris we were at a few years ago. Actually, we didn't get any of those drinks. Just a simple bottle of Bordeaux at about €40.)
