Flagstaff, AZ is on the migration path of the Bald Eagle. There is a mostly dry lake bed named Mormon Lake just south of town, where they especially like to roost, when they fly through. That pic reminds me of that area. I've seen many dozens of Bald Eagles there together many times. That lake-bed prairie is also a favorite gathering place of an absolutely huge herd of Elk as well, some of the largest in North America. The largest Elk ever taken on record in the US was taken about twenty miles north of there. It is a beautiful area.

Yep. I know wasps are helpful pollinators but you don't see bees making hives above my front door.
