The original Hughes H1 is in the Smithsonian, fitted with the long distance record setting wings. The short distance record setting wings have been lost as the they were removed before the plane was flown from California to the East coast on its last flight.

The most beautiful aircraft I have ever seen. Jim Wright's replica H-1 at Oshkosh was an absolute stunner.
Unfortunately the H-1 crashed (engine failure apparently) and was destroyed flying back from Oshkosh in 2003. The GeeBee crashed, but was heavily damaged (may be in Florida now?)

This guy raised an abandoned moose calf with his Horses, and believe it or not, he has trained it for lumber removal and other hauling tasks. Given the 2,000 pounds of robust muscle, and the splayed, grippy hooves, he claims it is the best work animal he has. He says the secret to keeping the moose around is a sweet salt lick, although, during the rut he disappears for a couple of weeks, but always comes home.
