Well thanks for the damn memories! Friend of mine is in Sailplane competition this week, saw my old trailer and sent a few pictures. The trailer held my DG-300 which I sold, guy flew from Seattle, WA; bought it, flew home and then drove here to tows it home. Two years later he clipped a tree with a wingtip on landing, got into a very fast flat spin and died on impact. Plane broke into 3 big chunks. I got pissed on a message board, all these arm chair quarterbacks offering comment with no information. STFU. Widow must have sold the trailer as it holds an LS-1 now.

I think you're talking about the X-15. As far as I know, Neil Armstrong never flew a B-58 Hustler. Jimmy Stewart did though.
