The odd thing is, It was easier to find the parts for the 124 than for the FJ40. Just go ahead and find a 24 volt alternator to fit a 78 Land Cruiser with a 4cylinder diesel...A guy in Burnaby had the rear axles and bearings, the front axle disconnects have weird tapered Allan head capscrews that don't seem to exist.
I had the distributor cap and rotor for the Fiat in a couple of days, and it's the weird cap and rotor.

At one time back in the early nineties, my dad's shop had a Ferrari 328 GTB parked under a 1963 Chrysler convertible on a lift, a Citroën SM parked under a 1969 Cord 810 replica on another lift and one of Bobby Rahal's mid-eighties Indy cars hanging by a chain from the ceiling. There was also a 1954 Nash-Healey parked by the shop's office door and beside it a right-hand drive Fairlady-Z. :-)
