There's a mid 60s Bug that is approximately this color for sale down the street. I am resisting the urge to sell my VW for another VW. Although I do want to sell it to buy something with a flat-four engine. Go figure.

...it can, but sometimes it doesnt...like in this case. The Bel Air is a beaut, thats for sure. But I dont want one, wouldnt like owning one, and have no desire to build one. Pretty? Yes. Enviable? (for me) no. Its big, clunky, awkward and heavy. I really can appreciate the effort that went into resoring/maintaining a car of its age to a level pictured above. When you see a labor of love, its obvious. I dont begrudge anyone their love for that car or its peers, but I do not envy them at all.

Funny thing about LT, I watched The Blind Side this weekend and the opening and ending monologues by Ms. Bullock just didn't have the intended effect on me in light of his recent escapades.
