The FDNY needs to cut something to make its next budget and once again that something seems to be firehouses. Among the 20 firehouses on the chopping block? I was really thinking about buying this one around the corner of my house. It was too expensive.
This former firehouse was for sale near my 'hood. Don't know what they were asking, but it had potential as a living/working space. It became a used car dealership.
When I was towing I always wanted to buy a firehouse so I could keep the trucks inside and have a decent place to live. Of course i'd also have to find an old Dodge Rescue truck and some ringers lactate.
