Mazda produced three hardtop NB Miata variants for the Japanese market, in very limited numbers. I have yet to ever see one in person, but the photos are cool!
Mazda Japan also produced a Roadster Coupe TS concept car, which would have had enormous appeal had it ever gone into production:

I like that a lot. When I saw the pic. of the white one, I really wasn't sure what it was @ first. On first glance I thought, Miata coupe, no, RX7, no, that's a Miata
I like the Gran Turismo game series and I just remembered that GT2 had one of those as a prize car. I never knew it really existed though.
I also just realized that i have those wheels (probably a knockoff) on my MX6.
