Why a hadrasaur ruler for a meg tooth? The only relationship I see is "they are both old stuff." Here's a Betty White hotlink to continue the theme

Sgt. James H. Roberts, 25th Infantry Div..35th Tank Co. Commanded an E8. Stuff must have been tough in Korea..tank commander, and never even promoted to Cpl.?

Now that I'm an adult who's actually studied armor of the period, it scares me to death that the man was facing T-34/85s in that thing. His unit refitted with M26s shortly before he came home (1953), but he hated them. By his account, less reliable mechanically, and more susceptible to close assault tactics by enemy infantry (he said his unit fabricated locking caps on the fuel fillers, because a Chinese grenade could go straight down the filler pipe).

I sure wish my daughter could have met him. Except for his discomfort with my love of motor racing, he was a damn cool guy.

Strangely enough, he loved to watch the old MAS*H TV show. He said he saw Robert Blake once when passing through one of the real MASH units. And when the TV show had an episode when folks were so cold during the winter, he'd actually start shivering, and go outside to warm up. I guess PTSD actually existed before we had a name for it..

EDIT: The Korean War Memorial in the snow..
