Variations of the 850-theme:

I desperately tried to convince Dad to buy an 850 Spyder but he opted for a Sprite. Can't complain as I still got a great car out of that decision.

Or it was a stunt person who hit a camera man while they were filming it.

I work in a building next to that and it was an interesting time for sure.

And speaking of the 'burgh and Batman, he was still my favorite all around.

A reminder that extinguishing your camp fire properly might be a good idea. Taken on the way home tonight:

We're not that far away from the fire either - it's pretty much due south from the house, probably about 4-5 miles, if that. Burnt over 2500 acres since yesterday afternoon.

If I remember correctly they had installed the wires/cables/lines (whatever) and they had left slack in them. When they pulled them tight, they had to walk the line to make sure everything went well, and you get this picture. The moose got stuck in the lines before they pulled them tight.

Then there is this:

Hey Wally: Is this your department?

You dollar is already counted in the $98. You still owe that; just because you didn't use it to pay for the shirt. Remember the shirt cost $97. Adding your dollar in gets you to $98. You wouldn't add your dollar in a second time to get to $99; you add in the $2 you gave back to get to $100.

I hate when people make E36 M3 up to make other people give up on math.

Maybe this happened.

the problem with this explanation, obviously, is that your picture is of a deer WITHOUT SPOTS. I would expect that to be an adult - and thus fairly large - critter. You'll recall that in the video I found, the eagle only flew/glided downward.....it never increased elevation with the kid goat in its grasp.

It would need to be small, though
