I was home sick from high school and saw that on CBS News. They stopped the video but let the audio run. The people screaming in horror are still burnt into my memory.
The full deal made it across the airwaves live on WPVI 6 ABC in Philly. It happened faster than they could cut the video signal. I believe the video is available online. I won't hotlink that one.

No relationship to the number....just hot linked because it belonged in this thread and the site tried to make it difficult to do.
The floor is too clean for my liking but otherwise...

I saw it live. I remembered it well enough to recall the year and his name. It wasn't pretty - but you gotta hand to him. It was an impressive show of commitment.

I was sick and did not go to school this day. Since I never had cable growing up all we had was broadcast TV and all the local stations were at this press conference. I was watching the only station not to cut away...
And I mean, with out him there would be no Filter "Hey man, nice shot."

I wish someone like you was my son. My parents weren't enthusiasts, my kid's not one...I'm scared to death that none of the stuff at my estate sale will go for what it's really worth.
OTOH, that would give the next generation of Grassroots folks some wicked deals...

The video is out there, one of my old bosses had it as a screensaver
Here's my '90 in action -- I'm sure this is the first of many Miata shots to follow:
Hot-linked from this site -- will that cause a black hole, or will we all go blind?

Define unrelated. It's a hotlink so it must be related.
