The image shows what appears to be a black and white checker-board with a green cylinder resting on it that casts a shadow diagonally across the middle of the board. The black and white squares are actually different shades of gray. The image has been constructed so that “white” squares in the shadow, one of which is labeled “B,” are actually the exact same gray value as “black” squares outside the shadow, one of which is labeled “A.” The two squares A and B appear very different as a result of the illusion.
Admittedly, I've not seen too much Dr. Who past the last three Doctors. That said, the duo of David Tennant and Katherin Tate has been my favorite so far.
I love how Tennant's Dr. can go from being silly and cheerful to being stone cold frightening "I can and will destroy you and your entire race so completely that history will never know you existed." And Donna felt the most like a companion who was close to being the Dr.'s peer. No insipid sexual tension.

I was going to call bull E36 M3 until I covered all the other squares...
I was watching Dr. Who for a while, then my son decided he was terrified of the show, so we stopped watching. I'll get them all from Netflix at some point in time and have a marathon.
In reply to Adrian_Thompson:
ESPN used to show midget and sprint car racing from IRP on thursday nights. They ran the Jags as an old timers race for a few weeks until I guess they ran out of cars. I forget who paid for it but if I remember right the cars had been returned with some sort of problem or unsold, i forget the exact story.

I loved the newest season.
Spotted one of these today on my way home from the parts yard. I was in the left lane going 5 over passing a few slow cars. Out of nowhere this thing was on my tail. Sped up my passing and then promptly got out of his way.

What's bizarre about this one is that, to me, the red lines look curved with one eye closed.

Series 5 and 6 are the best. You will like it considerably more after you see the series 6 finale. It ALL comes together. Having just finished, I have these two things to say.
MOFFAT!
Karen Gillan is smoking sexy!

I thought the same thing, until I cut two holes in a business card (I never liked that person anyway) to show the two spots. Yea, they are the same. Kind of stunning.
