Because they are pretty cool when setup well. My 87 had Koni's, Eibach springs, 1992 front K-member, Daytona Shelby front bar, hand-made rear bar, 17" wheels, Powerstroke intercooler, 3" exhaust, etc. Bought it for $500 and sold if for $2000 and another club member just bought it for $750, of course now it needs a fresh automatic and head, plus a number of other items.
My CSX will be ressurected soon and I'll go back to having a P-body to cruise around in.
