At 55 years of age I am thankful for the many years the Lord has given me on this earth - good health, 2 kids, and a wife for the past 31 years.
I also thank the Lord for steady employment and making money since I started throwing newspapers, cutting lawns, and shoveling snow in the 5th grade.
Praise the Lord and pass the biscuits, please.
Am I the only person that read the original topic correctly?

I pretty much assumed it fell in line with the 3525 pages of Can we please stop hotlinking photos?
I'm thankful I'm not a Turkey.
Dude..... 2017 was terrible. I mean I got two raises. My boss loves me and the work I put in. My coworkers like working with me. My employer wants to spend several thousand bucks into continuing my advancement next year. What the hell? I just wanted to be the lazy dude.
Then there’s the projects. I had to fly PAST Tucson to LAX to be able to spend 3 days with my dad driving a 40yo truck that I had only ever seen pictures over the interwebs of. Had a stupid epic adventure that has turned into a money pit that draws waaaaayyyyy too much attention. I found a co driver for next year. I got offered a spot on a one lap team. I mean no one ever wants to do something stupid like that. Because if raises I spent waaaaaaayyyyy to much money on the aforementioned money pit
then there’s the family. A wife that tolerated my crap all year and gave me more green lights than I should have had on projects that I never should have started. One that for some odd reason wants to come home to me every night. What’s up with that? What does she want from me? Parents that are always supportive. Two devoted 4-legged kids that always make me smile and cousins aunts and uncles that still get along. Friends that not only support me come help me do stupid things and make stupid decisions. Always wanting to help and never thinking twice. That’s some crappy friends there
Let me tell you, I wish everyone had to suffer like me.
Did i do it right?
Also, I'm pretty happy that 2017 hasn't sucked for me nearly as much as 2016 did.
I guess, I'm also thankful for you dorks. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who lives on the island of misfits when it comes to automotive ADD.
