I spotted this while idly looking for an E30 or E36 project. From AutoTrader, no less, which generally gets a higher grade of weirdo than CL. I particularly love the last line, shouted in ALL CAPS FOR EMPHASIS:
"CARFAX" confirmed ONE OWNER BMW 318ti M PKG is SILVER on TWO TONE BLACK AND SILVER Leather Seats. This Vehicle was borne in California, owner moved to Virginia in 2002. This Vehicle has POWER SUNROOF which cover the whole celing from FRONT TO THE BACK OF the Vehicle, and called THE CALIFORNIA PKG. We have all the RECORDS since this vehicle was borne almost 200 pages of the record. This vehicle is very low miles ONLY 9k miles per year. Recently FOUR NEW PERFORMANCE TIRES, BRAKES PADS and ROTTERS were installed, Water Pump, Timing Belt,OIL and FILTERS has been changed, custom made CAR COVER and all Four Keys are available. This M PKG 318ti has GREAT STEERIN, TOP-NOTCH SUSPENTION, SPARTAN INTERIOR and LETHARGIC ACCELERATION.
borne in California? I thought Jason Borne was from Mississippi.

Rotters and lethargic acceleration. Sounds British.
Why would you emphasize that a car has lethargic acceleration when you are trying to sell it? Quite a difference from people selling fast Yugos.
Lethargic acceleration gets old farts to by Buicks.

and it is still one of the most bad ass cars out there.
Besides you can get the "super" line of the LaCrosse now that has a 300HP 5.3 V8. Or the Lucerne with a Northstar shoved under the hood.
Besides there were more fast Buicks built back in the day. Just not their focus these days, but they have made fast cars.
Agreed..
The Buick GS Stage One is one of the baddest muscle cars out there and very, very unknown. 425 hp and 510 lb/ft baby!
The Grand National still has quite a bit of potential, even by today's standards.

Yep its also a weird thing to comment on age of a car on a board that so many people run cars from the 70's and 80's...and ones that never had any sort of performance purpose to begin with.

I admittedly have a soft spot for Buicks.
Aside from the Grand Nationals and the GS of the 70's. The 97-04 Regal GS with the 3800 supercharged motor ran 14.7 stock in the 1/4 mile and is a pulley and tune away from low 14s to high 13s. All while pulling down near 30mpg on the highway.
Hell my old 98 Park Ave Ultra ran 15.5 in the 1/4 with 200,000 miles on it with only a home depot intake.

Nothing wrong with the age of the car per se, just that its been a while since they did anything that cool.
I always had a crush on Grand Nationals... But the age of me buying one is long past.
Always thought that my 1985 Bonneville would have been cool with Grand Nash goodies under it.

I almost bought one instead of my Civic but no manual transmission and lot lower gas mileage turned me against it. Still some day, I would love to get one.
There's a guy in our club with a 01ish Regal GS. It looks absolutely bone-stock, dark green, and quiet as can be. Runs 12.3's with the blower motor. Now he's building a turbo setup for it to try and go 10's. Sleeper extraordinaire.
Another guy has a "plain" GN:
11.51@119
Yeah, Buick always had "it". Haul ass with class baby.
I love that buick v6.......... love it.
they are new rotters too...maybe it just a pinhole of rot

I had to read that a few times to understand what you meant.
I knew the words, but together, they meant nothing.
