This has some impressive photography of flying cannonballs. The trigger man is rather clueless about where a Saturn has it's transmission.

I know he was close to it, but I'm surprised at how quickly it traveled through the block of that car and just kept going. I would have guessed that the cannonball wouldn't have made it to the end.
The sheer force is impressive.

Let that be a lesson to those of you who would go back in time armed only with a car and attempt to change the outcome of key battles that were won by the might of the cannon.
Very entertaining. I enjoyed it.
If I were to attempt that I would do it armed only with a .50 semi auto. Structure? No problem...people? No problem. Don't even have to be close.
Are those just gopros? Are gopros able to shoot video in high speed mode? how many frames per second is that?
If nothing else, this puts to rest the Hollywood trope of people flying backward when they get shot.

That was my first thought too. I love the shot where you can see through the block into the interior. Awesome.

While a 12 pounder would impact enough kinetic energy into to knock you back.. it would certainly put a hole through your chest before continuing on towreck havoc on the battlefield
