I've worked in 3 industries in my life- heavy equipment, motorsports, and now aviation, all industries where you often have to trust your co workers with your lives. I can't tell you that there's no room for these people in any of those industries, and not to mention there aren't enough jobs for the people who want to work and are capable to hold a job. Sir, I'm afraid YOUR realities are in fact founded in an America that exists nowhere outside of a Toby Keith video

My reality is based in reality. But you need to feel better about your self by stating something is fact when it isn't thats ok. It's just another example of your intellectual dishonesty.

Picking up litter? Right. That's brilliant! So you're basically saying they will then be in the employ of the government. Now we have a brand new arm of the govt created to have welfare recipients pick up trash. So they were getting maybe $15K a year on welfare, and lets do the new math--

Lets say you give them the same $15k salary for picking up trash.

Then you need lots of people to babysit them, and being the govt, a small army of paper pushers, we'll just collectively call this "administrative costs" of..., oh lets say another $15k per year

And many of them don't drive, so you'll have to transport them to where ever the trash is located. So that's gonna mean a fleet of thousands of buses, add in the drivers, mechanics, fuel, maintenance, etc. We'll call that "transportaion costs" at another $15k per year.

Then you could imagine that many of them will claim they've been injured while picking up the trash, so of coarse they'll be worker's comp claims and law suits, and of coarse they'll need gloves, rakes, etc. Then there's the osha safety training they'll need, etc, etc, etc. We'll say another $15k per year for "misc."

So, therefore we're looking at a thrifty $60k each a year to have welfare recipients pick up trash. Brilliant!

Phranc, your ingeniuous ideas would truly make you an excellent politician. No joke, you would fit in perfectly! You should buy a suit and consider a career change.

At least this E36 M3hole of a country wouldn't look like a giant ashtray or MickeyD's dumpster along side the road, but then again you probably enjoy looking at it everyday.

Transportation costs, really? If you want your check, you will find a way to get where you have to be at the right time.

Medical? I hear the VA is good. Might take you 3 mo to get that CAT scan to find out you have had a brain tumor for 8mo previous....

Administrative costs? Not like the case workers are doing anything more for their 30k/yr if they see them in the office every 3 mo or once a week before "work" to see if they are really working for the money.

Sure! This ought to work out fine. Never actually baked this recipe, but if you've got a decent crust, it's hard to go wrong.

Edit: I just read it again. Total bake time should be about one hour. Keep an eye on it after 50 minutes or so and don't let your crust get too brown.

Hoopties for Homeez is racist. Let's be honest here. If you're saying this it doesn't matter what color you are. We all know what's being said and about who. It also furthers the idea that most welfare recipients are black. In 2003 the difference between the percentage of white families on welfare and black was a matter of a few percentage points. Data here.

None of you jackholes who jumped on Aeromoto for buying a new car via cash for clunkers have a leg to stand on. You all take advantage of various programs that various tax payers support or oppose in various ways. Jumping down his throat about this is fvcking ridiculous. Get over yourselves. Can any of you turn off the hate spigot for a few?

Cash for clunkers was how long ago? Hint, Nov 1 2009. And you guys have to drag this dead horse out to beat it more? Here is a link about the economic effects of the rebate program so you can all give it a rest. Btw - most of the cars crushed were crap. Get over it. They're gone.

But hey, continue your ridiculous dick measuring contest if you want. Which is bullE36 M3 because we all know Milton Berle had the largest dick in Hollywood.

I don't see what "welfare" has to do with "Hoopties for Homeez." Let alone race.

You made the jump that you thought everyone was saying that everyone on welfare was black simply because you wanted something to chastise everyone about. Not ONE person here said that. Not ONE person here said "Hoopties for Black People." They said "Homeez." I still don't know what race "Homeez" is, because around here, and throughout my entire life, "Homeez" has been a pretty consistent MIX of races.

Soo... great job turning "Hoopties for Homeez" into "only black people are on welfare." Who's the racist?
