My wife has a 2005 Audi Allroad and we're going to part ways with it.
240k, body is straight, some rust on it, just did a 'standard' suspension conversion about 3k miles ago
clean leather - no rips at all
AWD, 2.7 (?) Twin Turbo car
Has a CEL from the suspension conversion (I can post the codes and info if someone was interested)
Lots of new stuff to it like drivers side axle etc. We're just at the point where we're done putting money into it and it cant pass inspection (even for that code) here in NC.
I dont know where to start the pricing, honestly. We were thinking 1500 but not sure.
Def wants at least a grand or so
Thougths?
Not familiar with them at all, but I'm off this weekend, and might can get up to see it.
Did a google, and they are very nice looking wagons.
BTW, thank you Stampie, for the heads up. If we get it, the dogs will love you. (Ok, the dogs would love you anyway!)
Yes, automatic
The tires (Falken...something, not their most basic/low line either) have maybe 10k on them
New suspension a few thousands miles on it
It's not perfect, but it's cheap!
I dont know what a manual swap would take, but would leave lots of room in a challenge budget possibly
And the leather is in good condition.
If you/anyone texts me at 336

I can message some pics to you
Or PM me I guess
We're in Winston Salem, by Wake Forest University (GO DEACS!)

I went to Wake and my Fla license plate is "GO DEACS"!
Wife is almost on board; did approve my 4 hr trip to check it out, hopefully tomorrow
there's a fender, in my silver, for the Merc about 1/2 way for a good price, if I pull it, so that's an added excuse for a road trip, and a good friend has been in NC for many years, and we keep missing each other on all my trips through, so that's another!
It's a wagon - want to put a LS and transmission in the back and bring it further south for me? Pretty please??
I can try to get up to Winston-Salem tomorrow if we want to do a grm get together for this as well.
If he's available to get with me tomorrow, I'll be up there with my truck and trailer. On the odd chance that I don't buy it (unlikely) i could throw it on the trailer. Truck bed is open either way. I'm near Athens ga for work, but only 40 hrs (mostly) so several hours south of there on a weekend is easy. Or Dothan Al , and it can wait till I could afford a trip to fl. Basically, we can do this!
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
Wanna pull a grand-ma-quois fender off for me, somewhere east of charlotte? I gotta look at exactly where. Wasn't in the weekend plan, but ? Well, neither was driving to N NC !
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
The fender is in Laurinburg, but that's an hr and a half S E of ya - farther than I thought.
we should meet up, on my way up , back, or somewhere.
In reply to 03Panther :
The ls drivetrain in question is a mile from my house, so this may all work out!
Call me when you get a firm set of plans for tomorrow. 828-260-1254 and we'll get details worked out.
This is all very good news!
I'm old enough for "i love it when a plan comes together."

When were you there and for what?
Im there now for my MBA
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dan/Panther - WOW, what a super nice guy
I wish we had more time to hang out and chat about cars and motorcycles
But as I type this he is on his way to meet Michael/Disturb for more GRM goodness and transport
I truly hope that he and his beautiful wife get as much enjoyment out of this as my wife did - she was literally in tears as it pulled away. She loved the car.
Awesome! Allroads were on my "grab one if I find a deal" list for so many years. I hope it makes it to the challenge!
Hammer store, instead of gas, but all so far...
In reply to 03Panther :

Thanks for the car, and the kind words
Pleasure dealing with good folks. You and your wife are a great couple (you did good, sir!) and I'm glad to meet the both of you. Make sure to tell her how excited my wife is about this one.
In reply to Stampie :
