Truly surprised that they saw fit to make this movie. I don't think I'll pay to see it.
Little-known fact: There are those who maintain that the law firm originally retained to take this case was Winer, Diner, Dicker, & Dunker.

Coffee....keyboard...
The only reason I would ever watch this movie is Jim Gaffigan. Hilarious as a comedian, but how the hell did he get a part in this movie? Hopefully, he does a good job and the script doesn't suck.

At lunch today a coworker told a story about a goat that almost got salad to come out of my nostrils! Took a few minutes to recover from that...

Dewy, Cheatum, and Howe.
In fairness I didn't know that Mary Jo Kopechne survived the crash for several hours trapped in an air pocket so I learned something.

I’ve never heard that.
Is it too soon for a drama based on the hanky-panky in the Clinton White House? Kind of a political take on 50 shades of gray? I bet there's some money to be made there.
All the things I would say on this topic would land me my own patio at the Suddards place. So with that, I'm out.

Actually, the only movies where I like Will Farrell are non-comedic, so sometimes comedians are good in serious roles.
Will Farell, Jim Carry, Robin Williams, Steve Carrell... I am sure there are more. For whatever reason, comedians can make very good dramatic actors. I suspect it's because comedic work is essentially acting anyway.

Not sure why you say that either. It's a "true" story that is interesting and many have not heard. Similar to Watergate or the subject of the movie The Post (Vietnam coverup).
What somewhat surprises me, is that it was made at all. The typical "lean" of Hollywood would tend to make such movies less likely. They DID however wait until he died to make the movie. It is nice to put a bit out there though to let everyone know that the Kennedy's are not the golden idols that they are sometimes thought of as.
There is a potentially very interesting movie to be made of the "The Clintons", but that's a bit too fresh, and would be way to political at this point.... maybe when they die. And of course... of the current "situation".... so a few movies to look forward to .

For many comedians, the root of their comedy is a life of pain and suffering, so many eventually learn to tap into that and use it for their roles.

We're ripe for it. But that would never happen considering Hollywood's leanings. Funny that "House of Cards" was pretty close to actuality, from a certain perspective, which I'm not allowed to say here. But to insinuate I guess is OK.
