Btw woot is an awesome website! I bought 2 rokus off of there last week got it early this week had the wrong remotes for both of them and I recieved the correct ones today after a quick email the other night!
If it has an LCD screen that's a huge improvement over the Hero. I have a Hero, but don't use it as much for things other than fixed video, like filming generally or the delay photo taking feature.
Man, that is a pretty tempting price....
The original HD Hero is only $199 regular price and you can usually find it on sale for the same amount as the knock-off...
Is the remote line of sight infrared or rf? I couldn't tell from the link.

I ordered one, and it came in today. I'm impressed so far. Simple and easy to use. No real filming done with it yet, but quality looks good. It came with an assortment of mounts that look to be decent and a waterproof case. It also came with the LCD. The remote control will come in handy. Having never played with a GoPro, I can't compare, but for dollars spent, I'm happy.

As noted above I bought this last time and here is a video from the last rallyx where I was using this camera on my impreza.

It is a little annoying to have to turn the camera on before putting it in the case to use it but not that bad. The sound volume is a little low when in the case (not sure how it is out of the case since I have only used it in the case) But overall it seems like a pretty good deal still.
