We need to focus our attention on which company we want to put out of business for making non-enthusiast approved cars. Then we can launch a crowd funding campaign to buy the network and factories. Then we can make the best car in the world, sell it to the masses and make some righteous bucks to spend on Miatas. Who is with me!?!?!
The big FAIL in your plan is the same problem that this thread has. The "masses" won't buy the car you build. They buy Civics.
We could bring back Saturn!

And why exactly would it be wise to bring back a failed car company?

Either you're having a problem with your irony detector, or I am with mine.
No I didn't miss the , I just didn't get it I guess. What does a failing Saturn have to do with a successful Honda? Must be me, but I confused...
In reply to bravenrace:
Saturn was great when it stuck to its initial concept, it was a strong competitor against the Imports and it was an interesting social engineering experiment as well. Once it moved away from that vision and started executing the same bland "engineering" that the rest of GM was doing and got rid of the sales tactics that made it endearing to the public, it became just another GM division selling the same old worn out GM chassis designs with the same shyster sales and service departments.
Much like so many other multi-brand car companies these days, its more often than not the same crap wrapped in slightly different looking bags, set on fire and left on your doorstep.

Thanks for the lesson, Mr. Obvious.

Mother of God...you merely got caught up in the shenanigans. I will make sure that I, in the future, will not include you in any attempt at dry humor that you can't/don't "get".
And " "
Do I need to turn this car around?

Very much the truth. Saturn started the downward spiral when they expanded out to the larger L-Series and then dropped the S-series and went to the more bloated Ions. Do hope some day to pick up a Sky cheaply... I really wish the attempt DMC made at picking up the Kappa platform rights & factory had worked out...

This just in.... you've been voted king of the shiny people. May your rule be a long and arduous one fraught with danger.
Oooo, he turned it back back around!
What I learned today:
There is an unlock button too.
I would consider another car from Saturn. Plastic panels are totally berkeleying awesome and every car should use them.

So now I gotta figure out when to post "In before the unlock!"
I can't handle that.
