In all seriousness it would be awesome if GRM did an article like one that was in CM about the unloved classics (I remember the BiTurbo, Corvair and TR7 were in it). The GRM version could have a Yugo, Gremlin and some other cars which are the butt of jokes.
Yugo's and Gremin's are the butt of jokes? This place made me think they were highly desirable vehicles. I'm disolutioned.

I have long wanted to publish a fake editorial calendar filled with absolute crap ideas, just to see how many of our competitors jumped on these "hot topics" in the following months. We know there are more than a couple of publications that copy us, because they TELL us when we run into them at press events.
You know what they say about imitation... though we're usually more puzzled by these ready admissions than flattered. It's a lot like hearing someone say, "Hey, I really liked that girl you spotted and married, so I stole her," and being expected to say, "Why THANK you!"

Sounds like you should include plans for a kit helicopter... With matching backyard landing pad .

actually.. a "silly" bluff article could be fun
Hmm..how bout a fake "bluff" issue for April. JTwh8's Wartburg, Amos Johnson's old IMSA RS Gremlin, and the cpdave's Dart from the "Non-traditional racers" thread. I'm sure we could scare up enough weird stuff to fill an issue..and then blast everyone that thought it was an April Fools' joke.

Doesn't R&T feature an April Fools Day road test every year? Or did they stop that tradition?
Years ago, the mag tested an 11 liter Mercedes GT; the GT stood for garbage truck.

But it's completely normal to think that way here. Honestly, there are sooo many j-bodies around that I'm surprised GM hasn't done an article yet. I think that very, very soon somebody will have an ecotec turbocharged cadavalier at the Challenge... reliable, tons of power, and they can be made to handle "well" enough to do ok at the auto-x.
