Fifth Gear brings you the complete loop-the-loop

I can't believe they only had to go 36 miles per hour. I would have thought you would need a much higher speed.
Nice to see someone attempt and succeed at this in real life. Seems to me the real challenge is building a loop capable of being driven on. The design and construction of that intrigues me more than the actual stunt itself. One major design flaw and the car ends up in the scrap pile. Brings back memories of the old arcade game Stunt Driver with the test track and the stunt track. Fell out of or off that loop hundreds of times. The other question stuck in my brain is, "Why hasn't this been done sooner?" Maybe it has and I just haven't seen it.
Loop the loops were staples of the old travelling car shows. They used to be at all the carnivals. I loved them!
They didn't really believe they were the first to do that did they? And if there is a chance you could be killed during a stunt, is a pocket sized Toyota the car you want to go out in? I'm kinda surprised that you only neede to go 36 mph to generate 6g's.
I'm calling BULL E36-M3 on that record claim watch this
